10th Annual Engineers Competition
Hollidaysburg, PA – Stiffler McGraw, a full-service consulting firm offering civil engineering, surveying and architectural design services, is pleased to announce they competed against other engineering firms in the area by collecting donations for the American Rescue Workers (ARW) for the tenth year!
The 10th Annual Engineers Fight to CAN Hunger competition officially began on January 23rd and ran through National Engineer’s Week; February 18th through February 22nd. During this time frame, Stiffler McGraw collected monetary donations from employees and matched the total dollar amount. Stiffler McGraw’s total contribution to the competition was $2,372.00.
The donation was made to the American Rescue Workers on Friday, February 22, 2019.
Our competition between the local engineering firms has been making a difference in Blair County for the past 10 years! In years past we donated food and toiletry items. This year, we took a different approach in hopes to make a bigger impact! By receiving cash donations, the ARW will be able to manage their inventory and provide more food and toiletry items to the community. The outcome was truly amazing! The total donated from all participating firms, Stiffler McGraw, Keller Engineers, Gwin Dobson and Foreman, McLanahan Corporation and The EADS Group was $7,237.00.
The winner was determined by dividing the firm’s number of employees into the dollar amount per employee. The company with the highest amount per employee won the competition. This year’s winner was Keller Engineers with $46.75 per employee.
The competition is formed to help those in our community who need it most. All firms participating are here to make a difference, give generously and help those in our community who need it most.
