Location: Tioga County, PA
Project Description: The purpose of the Phase I ESA was to identify recognized environmental conditions in connection with the site at the time of site reconnaissance. The user is completing the Phase I ESA to meet due diligence requirements for potential lease and development of the site.
Project Solution: Based off the findings of the Phase I ESA, a Phase II ESA was recommended to determine if any environmental impacts have occurred to the site from the gasoline UST.
Project Results: During site reconnaissance activities, one underground storage tank (UST) was identified on the site. The UST was reported by the site owner to have formerly contained gasoline used to fuel farm equipment. The presence of the gasoline UST on the site would represent a recognized environmental condition.
