The Bedford Township Municipal Authority will receive sealed bids until 10:00a.m. prevailing local time on the 23rd day of January, 2019 at the Authority Office, 1007 Shed Road, Bedford, PA 15522 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following contract:

Old Bedford Village Pump Station Replacement

Contract 2019-1: General/Mechanical Work

Major work involves the demolition of the existing pump station and valve manhole, the construction of a 10’x10’ precast concrete wet well to house two new submersible pumps and aeration equipment, and the construction of 12’x8’ precast concrete valve/meter vault to house a flow meter, various valve work, and the necessary piping. Site grading will be required to elevate the top of the proposed wet well above the floodplain. Additionally, as part of the overall project, the first two manholes downstream of the pumping station will be replaced with two new, epoxy coated manholes.

Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at the office of Stiffler, McGraw & Associates, Inc.   Payment for the Contract Documents will be $106.00 for, which price includes 6% Pennsylvania Sales Tax.  Digital Copies are available in PDF format on Compact Disk at a 50% discount of the paper copies cost.  All checks should be made payable to Stiffler, McGraw & Associates, Inc.  Fee is non-refundable.  A $10.00 ($5.00 for Digital) fee for postage and handling will be required for Contract Documents that are mailed to bidders.
